I'm kinda sad after I read that article about Big Bang managing to hold an event in the Tokyo Dome due to connections like record label Universal Music.
I mean, Big Bang just entered Japan this year and already managed to step in the Tokyo Dome?
WHile it took TVXQ 4 whole years to even hold an event in the Tokyo Dome???
Ha, so this is what connections are all about,eh?
JYP and YG~
SM~
Have to admit, SM don't really have good connections, but they've the money, while JYP and YG are smarter and they seem to get all the good connections.
Nevertheless, SM artists work twice as hard as all the other agencies, man, I CAN TELL!
BoA worked for almost 8 years and finally gets into the US, but it seems like Wonder Girls got better conncections once again.
Well, SM artists are definitely more talented in singing and dancing, I agree~
But having good connections wins it all, huh???
ALl right, I hope I'm not crying now,
beacuse of feeling that TVXQ's hard efforts are not appreciated and recognized.
Only their fans DO.
I mean they started off as having a mere 500 fans in Japan to 60,000 in the TOkyo Dome. It took 4, tough years to learn the language and to gain the confidence too~

This PROUD performance, I c ry everytime I watch it because I know that they've definitely worked hard in Japan to achieve this popularity level over there.
ANd Cassiopeias have never forgotten them in Korea too, supporting them still even when they are in Japan.

To answer "Why did they cry?"- the questions that many ppl have :
At the time I subbed the video, I thought they cried because they were very touched by the support of fans who filled up Budokan theatre, the dream stage of any Japanese artists - that's why I called it "tears of joy" in my vid. Later on, when I watched their interview in "Star Show", I understood more that they had an incredibly hard time in Japan, that they even thought of giving up, that's why when performing on Budokan stage and receiving such enthusiasm from fans, all of memories about hard times in Japan went through their heads and they were also overwhelmed by the love of everyone. So I guess my interpretation of them crying "tears of joy" still makes sense.
P.S October 21, 2008: Just finished watching my/our boys in a radio show with MC Mong, then I went back to watch this vid. Can't believe I cried again after so many times watching this. Be it 6, 10 or 20 years, I pray that they would never change and so does my love for them.

Yea I agree with this too. I pray that my love will for them will never change~ They have so many Number 1s on the Oricon chart now. And more Japanese celebrities are getting to know them.

Can't believe DBSK is actually worrying that Big Bang will take over them in the K pop music industry while they're in Japan.
Even though I like Big Bang songs, I'm sorry but YOU GUYS are never gonna take over TVXQ, understand?
Wanna win them? Try harder! Learn the language, don't try to go solo too often, must have the team spirit which DBSK carry, eh? And I dun think Hip Hop is gonna work in Japan.

First off, l have to disagree that BB gets to go to Tokyo Dome because they signed with Universal Japan. If DBSK had wished, they would have had a fan meeting in Tokyo Dome, because Avex is a BIG label in Japan. In fact, in 2008, Avex's revenue (4.22 billion) is much greater than Universal's (2.95 billion). People should understand that this is a fan meeting, and BB is not the first Korean artist to do so in Tokyo Dome. An example is Lee Byung Hun, he held his fan meeting in Tokyo Dome in 2006 too. Believe it or not, Japanese music market is still very skeptical, and I guess that is the reason why DBSK chose to work from their bottom up. As you can see the result, DBSK's fans in Japan are of more varieties than their fans in Koreans (mostly young girls), because they established a 'closer' image to fans than other idols. In my opinion, BB's move will establish them more as a Hallyu artist, and that's good, but it would make it harder for them to be recognized as a J-pop artist, if they wish to have a stable career in Japan. Then again, it's still too early to tell. I'm a DBSK fan but I wish them good luck :)

I agree with this comment so much. DBSK chose to start all over again from the bottom instead of relying on connections like what many artists had done, but didn't manage to maintain their popularity level in Japan.
Starting from the bottom is definitely a good choice, even though it would be tougher, but when you make it to the top, the popularity you gain will actually be lasting and you'll be more recognized and respected.---------------------------------------------------------------------

BB doesn't know what tokyo dome means to jpop artists...tokyo dome is a goal, an accomplishment thats why even japanese artists work hard to get there.. i'm a jpop fan and i often heard from them that they hope to finally make it in tokyo dome, to them tokyo dome is not just a venue, its a realization of your success an an artist in japan. bb is doing it the wrong way..and to all people who said that sm/avex has no connection in japan , you are pretty ignorant, they can easily hook up dbsk with any big artists in there or book them in tokyo dome much earlier in their career but they chose not to coz they want dbsk to make it on their own and not out of hype or connection..they want to start from the beginning coz they know japanese people will repect them for it..

Big Bang may just remain as a Hallyu star but DBSK will rather, be considered as an oficiall Japanese group. This is why I love DBSK!

Yesterday night i was watching their mirotic concert till 2am in the night. I really enjoyed it even though I'm not there~ Wahaaa, they're such lovable boys... "Somebody To Love" and "The Way You Are" are two of their best Japanese songs.
